Bear

“Bear” (the gentle giant) had to be released by his owner and, once Godbey Creek Canine Rescue had him checked out with a local vet, we found he was heart worm positive. He went through his treatments without any problems and is now heart worm free. He adopted a family that has provided him with two great brothers; a 3.5 pound poodle who is in charge, and a cocker spaniel who loves to play with Bear – they do everything together. Bear’s new Mom reports in all the time that Bear is “just what they were looking for” in a new family companion.
