Donors and Sponsors
Would you like to help an animal in foster care?
Honors & Memorials – There are many ways to honor a living family member, a pet, or to provide a memorial for a loved one.
Donations – Donations received will be mentioned in all newsletters for a full year and will be displayed on a poster board in our new offices. In our next newsletter, we will share more on our Additional opportunities to honor or recognize an individual or a pet
Kennel Sponsors – Our kennels will be installed within a few months and we have already received “kennel sponsor” donations. If you are interested in making a lasting honorary donation or memorial to a loved one, you can sponsor a kennel for $1000. A plaque honoring or in memory of your designated loved one will be placed on the kennel. Or, we will simply display your name as the kennel donor.
Eight kennels are planned for phase one. THANK YOU to our first three kennel sponsors!
We are devising a program whereby plaques honoring individuals and pets will be placed along the maple tree lined road entering the property. Stay tuned for more highlights about this program.
Sponsor a Pet – For $100, you can sponsor a pet until it’s adopted. The sponsorship fee covers about one third of the cost of food, supplies, general caregiving and veterinarian expenses for a pet in the program. Veterinarian expenses include spay or neuter, heartworm test, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, etc. You will receive a photo of the pet with a brief write-up, and are encouraged to visit your pet while he or she is awaiting his or her forever home.
Angel a Pet – You can ‘Angel’ a pet by paying forward a particular pet’s adoption fee. The potential adoption family is unaware that the fee has been paid until after the pet is officially adopted. The adoption family then has the choice of accepting the ‘donated adoption fee’ OR paying the adoption fee and choosing to Angel another pet in the program. The Angel fee covers the majority of expenses for the pet including food, supplies, daily care and veterinarian expenses. Veterinarian expenses include spay or neuter, heartworm test, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, etc. You will receive a photo of the pet with a brief write-up, and are encouraged to visit your pet while he or she is awaiting his or her forever home. You can Angel a pet for $200.
